There will be a goodly amount of due diligence paperwork, drafting from templates and client contact. Trainees will also expect to deal with banking documentation, acting just for the bank on lending propositions or for the bank in parallel with the purchaser client.In the property department, trainees will expect to deal with landlord and tenant documents, a small amount of residential conveyancing and banking documentation.Within the litigation department, trainees will enjoy a very broad cross-section of litigation, from debt collection to matrimonial matters to complex commercial litigation.Trainees are given an all-round training and are regularly monitored by the training partner to assess their progress and development.We look for drive and commitment, independence, creative thinking, personal achievement and personality, as well as a sound academic background.While every member of the firm is expected to work hard, we have a 'work to live' culture.
