Your first step towards a legal career is a pivotal one, and the Berry & Lamberts Training Contract is designed to provide you with a comprehensive foundation. You will gain a broad understanding of various legal practice areas, hands-on experience in at least three legal departments, and valuable insight into the commercial aspects of our business. This exposure will empower you to make an informed decision about which legal area to specialise in.

About You:

  • 2:1 degree in any subject
  • First time pass in the LPC and, if appropriate, the GDL (or equivalent), with preference given to those achieving distinction or commendation
  • At least three B grades at A-level and A-B grades at GCSE
  • Well-rounded professional individuals with excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
  • Highly organised with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and capable of working independently using their initiative
  • Commercially aware with a keen understanding of business dynamics
  • Self-motivated, hardworking, and committed to continuous self-improvement
  • Able to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines effectively
  • Dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service
