Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Start Date: Immediate (subject to notice period)

The Opportunity

As a Private Client Paralegal, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional client care and legal support. You’ll manage a diverse workload while honing your skills in drafting, communication, and case management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing efficient support to the Head of Department or Supervisor and working on cases independently.
  • Handling a broad caseload, including Probate, Wills, Trusts, and Inheritance Tax matters.
  • Ensuring accurate document preparation and maintaining detailed case records.
  • Managing correspondence, including incoming and outgoing post, and client liaison.
  • Diary management, ensuring deadlines are met and records are maintained.
  • Delivering a high standard of client service in person, over the phone, and via email.
  • Proactively supporting team objectives and contributing to the department’s success.

About You

We’re looking for someone who’s driven, organised, and passionate about delivering outstanding client care. Whether you have prior legal experience or are just starting your career with a strong academic background, this role could be perfect for you.

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • A strong academic record (GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics).
  • A genuine interest in Private Client law and helping clients.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of organisation.
  • Competency in MS Office and case management systems.
  • A proactive and positive approach to teamwork and problem-solving.
  • Prior experience in a Private Client setting is advantageous, but we also welcome candidates eager to learn and develop with us.
