About the Role
We are looking to recruit a paralegal to provide assistance in our Medical Negligence Department based in our Manchester Office. This is a busy and challenging role which offers a great opportunity for rewarding client work.
We are keen to hear from experienced paralegals, with a background in a Medical Negligence role. The successful candidate will be commercially minded with strong communication skills, who thrive in a friendly team environment. This is a great opportunity to work on high-profile cases and to make a difference in someone’s life!
Have a Law Degree and/or at least 1 year of experience in a paralegal/legal assistance role.
Be committed to delivering excellent client care/ service.
Be able to work sympathetically and effectively with a wide range of clients with differing needs.
Have excellent organisational skills and time management skills.
Be able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
Have the ability to use your initiative, work independently, input ideas and help develop the company.
Have the ability to build rapport with colleagues and clients alike.
Be keen to learn, interested in driving your own career progression and be proactive in taking ownership of this.

NB We have a number of our junior legal team members who have embarked on self-initiated SQE based qualification routes. Where possible, we support such students to sign off their experience as QWE where for example they have gained relevant experience working in a paralegal role.
