Due to ongoing success and expansion we are currently recruiting for a full time Paralegal to work with our busy Real Estateteam based in Huddersfield.

Previous experience would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided. Ramsdens are committed to the progression of our staff, and this is a fantastic opportunity to start a long term career with the firm so we welcome applications from graduates with an interest in Commercial Property and who want to develop their legal career within a busy, friendly, dynamic and highly experienced team.

Tasks will likely include the following:

  • Assisting fee earners with case progression and helping them manage their caseloads by dealing with specific delegated tasks.
  • Drafting documents 
  • Dealing with new telephone enquiries.
  • Dealing with correspondence and liaising directly with clients and third parties.
  • Attend to clients, both in person and on the telephone, to provide support in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm’s standards for client care.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality control procedures for all matters within your control.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in legislation and other regulatory aspects by attending training provided.
  • Legal research

Personal Specification

  • Ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Demonstrates an interest in Commercial Property
  • Ability to show empathy, be confident, patient and understanding
  • Good communication skills - both oral and written.
  • Some legal work experience is desirable
