Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Property Paralegal, you will support the residential property team in managing a diverse caseload of transactions from instruction to post-completion. Your key duties will include:<ul><li>Assisting with the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold properties.</li><li>Supporting the management of remortgages, transfers of equity, and new build purchases.</li><li>Conducting property searches and liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other relevant parties.</li><li>Drafting and reviewing contracts, title documents, and other related legal documentation under the supervision of a solicitor.</li><li>Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and other legal requirements.</li><li>Maintaining accurate case records and managing client expectations through regular communication.</li><li>Assisting in dealing with complex property issues, such as lease extensions, shared ownership, and adverse possession.</li><li>Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.</li></ul> Key Skills and Experience Required<ul><li>Previous experience in residential property law is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong understanding of the conveyancing process, including relevant legislation and regulations.</li><li>Excellent client care skills, with the ability to communicate legal concepts clearly and effectively.</li><li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving in all aspects of work.</li><li>Experience using conveyancing case management systems is advantageous.</li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.</li></ul> Benefits of Joining the FirmThis is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and respected firm in Manchester. They arelooking for a paralegal with a minimum of 1 years' experience within a corporate department who can demonstrate the ability to project manage various demands in an ever-changing environment.
