Training Contracts - 2025-2027 - Fox Williams
Application deadline: 2 February 2025
Applying for a training contract with Fox Williams begins with an application for our vacation schemes, as this is the only way we recruit our trainee solicitors. We believe this is an important process for us as well as any prospective trainee solicitors.
Our commitment to trainees allows you to make the most out of your career. You’ll find a rewarding, fast-paced environment where you feel challenged to excel, but always fully supported. Through our collegiate approach you will be guided at all times by senior members of staff and given a thorough grounding in the legal world through regular workshops which go beyond black letter law by focusing on commercial know-how and technical legal expertise too.
Your day-to-day learning is the most crucial training you will receive which is why we take on only a select number of trainees per year. You will be given a significant amount of one-to-one partner contact as well as regular interaction with our clients to give you a broad and varied legal understanding.
Eligibility requirements
ABB at A Level and a 2:1 at degree level.
We also partner with social mobility charity upReach to use a contextual recruitment tool, to ensure equal opportunities for all our applicants. The tool, called REALrating has been created by upReach, a social mobility charity. It considers academic performance in the context of factors such as school attended and background and gives employers a fairer measure of academic achievements than exam grades alone.
We accept applications from students working towards their Legal Practice Course (LPC) qualifications or the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE).
We accept applications from those at all stages of LPC or SQE. We ask that your LPC or SQE is completed and passed before you start your training contract with us, but you can apply before starting it or during your studies.
For full details, select apply.
We only fund the LPC or SQE study and exam fees if you have not started studying yet as we don’t fund these exams retrospectively.
