Originally established in Blackburn, we can now be found in seven locations across Lancashire and Greater Manchester.

We listen and are flexible and innovative in our tactics and methods, and looking for applications from candidates who demonstrate a strong academic background, excellent client care and interpersonal skill and who will work as part of a wider team to deliver exceptional client experience.

We take on up to four trainees per year so the application process is competitive.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent client care, enthusiasm and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work as part of our wider team delivering exceptional client experience, and be passionate about making a difference and helping our clients  – so strong examples of these in your application will be advantageous!

Your application is for a September 2026 start, and will consist of three stages

  1. Online application (closing date 31 January 2025)
  2. First round of interviews/assessment
  3. Second stage interviews

Our training contract programme offers four seats across a wide selection of our practice areas, including civil litigation, personal injury, family, property, corporate and commercial, and dispute resolution, amongst others. The seats are offered across all of our North West offices.
