A Training Contract at Fried Frank provides a rigorous two years of training across departments making up the core pillars of Fried Frank ecosystem.  It provides Trainees with the opportunity to gain experience, challenge themselves and, more importantly, build relationships and start to develop their own personal brand and network.  Our Trainees spend their two-year Training Contract working with Partners and Associates across four departments, gaining a broad knowledge of the law on their way to becoming a lawyer.  No two Fried Frank Trainees are the same and we are looking for energetic self-starters with enthusiasm and personality to drive our business forward.

Fried Frank London invites highly motivated, bright individuals who have a keen interest in the practice of Law to apply for one of our 4 Training Contracts in our London office starting August 2027.

Our minimum requirements are:

  • 2:1 degree (equivalent to 3.5 and above for GPA)
  • AAB at A-level (equivalent to 35 and above for IB)

    • All schooling with Grades (from GCSEs to University / Post grad)

    • Please give details of any clubs/societies/voluntary organisations you attended, including any positions of responsibility held within them.

Please note that the assessments for first and second rounds will be taking place in June & July 2025.  All assessments will be carried out in the London office in person.
