Training Contract - 2026 - B P Collins
Closing date 30 March 2025
We are currently accepting applications for Training Contracts starting in 2026.
Our graduate programme will give you the knowledge and experience you need to start your career in law. We have a small intake of 4-5 graduate trainees per year which ensures the availability of plenty of challenging and interesting work and maximises retention rates upon qualification. In terms of the scope and complexity of work on offer, there is limitless opportunity as we are keen to test ability, aptitude and commitment from day one. Over the two-year graduate programme our trainees have the opportunity to rotate between our six practice groups; Corporate and Commercial, Dispute Resolution, Employment, Family, Property, and Private Client. Throughout the graduate programme trainees are given regular development support from their supervisor.
Our graduate scheme takes place in our modern offices in Gerrards Cross and trainees are expected to attend the office most days.
Applicants must have good academics - A-levels (ABB) or equivalent and a degree in any subject (2:1 or above (obtained or predicted)). The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail with the ability to work flexibly and solve problems creatively.
In return we offer a competitive salary and financial support towards LPC/SQE courses.
To apply applicants should complete the online application form which includes a CV and cover letter.
They should use this stage to tell us about their grades at school/college and university, their work experience, their hobbies and interests outside of work, why they’ve chosen a career in law and why they feel they would be a good fit for BP Collins.
Successful candidates will be invited to attend an initial screening interview with a member of the HR team and to complete a number of assessments.
The final stage of the process will be an assessment day at our office in Gerrards Cross during which shortlisted candidates will take part in a scenario exercise, deliver a short presentation on a non-law related subject, and attend an interview with two of the partners.
