Solicitor Graduate Apprenticeship

Our graduate solicitor apprenticeship programme will support you through the new pathway to qualification as a solicitor by completion of the Solicitors Qualifying Exams (SQE1 and SQE2). Your study costs will be entirely funded by Mullis & Peake LLP.

In order to apply for this apprenticeship, you will need to have completed or be in the final year of your law degree (LLB), or alternatively have a non-law degree and have completed the graduate diploma in law (GDL).

The apprenticeship is a 24-month programme, where you will work four days per week in our firm and have one day per week for study with Damar Training. This programme allows graduates to qualify into the profession whilst gaining experience, earning a salary and without having to incur such considerable debt.

The Application Process

The course commences each September with Damar Training, we are therefore currently recruiting for a September 2025 starter. The initial stage of the application process is to complete the application form, following review of the application forms we will invite the potential candidates to interview in the later part of 2024.

A minimum entry requirement for the course offered by BPP is a 2:1 honours degree in law or a 2:1 honours degree in a non-law subject and a minimum of a pass in the GDL.

Please send completed application forms to hollyminney@mplaw.co.uk. These will be reviewed in due course and those candidates selected for interview will be contacted.

We seek candidates with not only good academics but with personality, charisma and strong interpersonal skills.

We offer several benefits to our trainees and apprentices, including:

  • Holiday, a minimum of 20 days plus bank holidays
  • Additional bonus holiday for birthday, at least three days over the Christmas period and for long service
  • Enhanced Maternity/Shared Parental Leave Pay
  • Up to 6 weeks Occupational Sick Pay
